Momma wants to take video's and pictures of event. She has played the game and understands what we are looking at.
Is there anything special she would need to do this?
We have her standard orange reflective vest she uses.
I know there are other photographers goint ot be there, but she enjoys hanging around me, (making sure I keep up on meds and don't do anything in the "stupid" realm at my age). She used to tote a rifle but enjoys taking pics and vids better. |

i would say rather than a reflective orange vest, get her some ODs and boots and be in the event "in character." honestly, i would be kinda peeved if i'm out on patrol with someone just flittering around in an orange vest snapping away pics without a care in the world. |

All she has is modern BDU's and Dark Tigers, but I'll see if she will go in character, she hates being a BB magnet. |

She'll need to be in ODs. If she wants to wear something that will distinguish her let us know so the opfor will be aware but we do not want anyone out there in an orange vest. As long as she isn't in the thick of stuff, there shouldn't be a big issue.
Thanks! |

No Biggie-DA We will try to find a set of OD's, I have one of my tops that will fit her, but no pants, will work on it. |

When you look at the old news reports the news folks were typically in a mix of civilian clothes (of the time) and OD GI stuff. An appropriate look would be a safari jacket or a photographers vest with lots of pockets like a fishing vest over a cotton shirt. A boonie hat and docker chino pants. Naturally she will have to wear appropriate eye protection.
News folks also wore OD tops often embellished with lots of patches. _________________ I'm old but I'm still pretty darn slow. |
